Behind the anti-terror alibi, the gas war in the Levant, by Thierry Meyssan

How Islamic State of Iraq and Levant (ISIL) is getting its Funding

1. ISIL steals oil in Iraq and Syria. Then routes it by pipeline to the Turkish port of Ceyhan.

2. Then the oil is transported from Ceyhan to Ashkelon, Israel by tankers of the Palmali Shipping & Agency JSC, the Turkish-Azeri company of billionaire Mubariz Gurbanoğlu.

3. At the port of Ashkelon, Israeli authorities provide false certificates of origin from Eilat.

4. After that, the oil is shipped by those same tankers to the European Union, which pretends to believe the tankers are Israeli.

Unlike the countries under embargo, who try to sell gas or oil on the international market but do not succeed, the Islamic State does so without any trouble, despite resolutions 1373 (2001) and 2170 (2014) of the Security Council.

The illegal scheme of funding ISIL is being covered and covertly supported by the US, UK, Israeli, and Turkish authorities. Which means those countries are directly interested in continuation of war and hostilities in Iraq and Syria.
