Syria: Another Iraq

Washington is trying to pull the same WMD card against Syria, it did ten years ago to create a pretext to go to war in Iraq.

Meanwhile, certain groups of mercenary fighters, most of which have arrived to Syria from all around the Middle East and Central Asia, have already used chemical weapons against local Syrian population.

Carla Del Ponte, the UN human rights investigator, said there is evidence the so-called rebels had used sarin gas. The investigation is underway as the UN commission of inquiry on Syria, which she is a part of, has far from finished its investigation.

Meanwhile, what is ongoing now bears eerie resemblance to events preceding Bush's Iraq war. Following the Bush's example, Obama is replicating a familiar scenario. Accusations of using chemical weapons against Syrian government are just as false as were the claims that Iraq had WMD.

Waging war requires for the Pentagon a pretext to do so. When none exists, it is invented by the U.S. generals and corrupt politicians. It is so easy. Thanks to the mainstream media, lies substitute for truth.

I hope that shameless repetition of lies by the mainstream media will not make American people believe them this time. This time the U.S. government is trying to pull this scheme off by using as mercenaries hordes of brainwashed Islamic internationals, which come from various corners of the world, to destroy yet another country in the Middle East and subject large numbers of innocent people to chaos and destruction of savage war.

Some of those undereducated, gravely indoctrinated, and tragically misled Muslim people, fighting against the Syrian people's national leader and the government troops, do not even know where they are, thinking that they are in Lebanon fighting against Israel.  The majority of those on the ground are ruthless, bloodthirsty, mindless murderers, like Dzhokhar and Tamerlan, the Tsarnaev brothers, the Boston marathon bombers, except that the Islamic extremists, fighting against Syria, are mostly uneducated, poor, and desperate fellows, who had been indoctrinated and trained by Al-Qaeda military instructors and then shipped over the Syrian border as boot soldiers.

The fight in Syria is not a classical civil war. It did not start naturally from within. It was started by foreign mercenaries with the help of local terrorist groups and is now generally localized to several areas mostly stretched along the state borders, where it is easier for foreign weapon supplies to be delivered and for small groups of foreign mercenary fighters and local trainees to infiltrate and terrorize local villagers and town dwellers. Only due to constant supply of weapons and ammunition by Arab states and incessant inflow of foreign mercenary fighters from Israel, Lebanon, Turkey, Iraq, and Jordan, the numerous groups of terrorist fighters and bandits are still on Syrian soil scattered around urban areas.

The Pentagon intends to use those poor kids, who often do not even know who they are fighting for or how to use those sophisticated weapon systems, delivered to them from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Turkey, to fight their disgraceful war against Bashar al-Assad. The latter has been blacklisted as Syria's President and a national leader, who is trying to preserve his country's territorial and economic integrity. The U.S. politicians think that they can get away with that crime by having foreign Islamic extremists fight another U.S. war instead of U.S. soldiers.

The U.S. political and military leaders intend to use those brainwashed Islamist fanatical extremists, who are typical fascist fighters in all but name, as human drones, who are being led in combat by highly paid Al-Qaeda leaders on the ground. General control and logistical and informational support of those quasi ground assault groups is provided by the U.S. and other NATO-member states.

As it is well known, Colin Powell, the first African American appointed as the U.S. Secretary of State, made his infamous February 5, 2003 Security Council speech claiming that Iraq had WMD which led to war. That claim was a shameless deception. Later he admitted that WMD claims were completely false. It was too late to matter then. This time, the same shameless, cowardly WMD (i.e. chemical weapon) claim has been made against Syria, an independent and peaceful nation.

As it is known, Israel has already delivered two air strikes on Syrian soil hastening a full-scale military conflict, which might easily draw the whole world into a major war. Hopefully, this time, the common sense prevails and America will find truly brave people, free from fear of retribution or prejudice, to stand up to the oppressors and defend their own dignity and other people's lives by stopping yet another bloody war.
